How we work

Six steps, and no surprises in the middle

Automation projects fail in predictable ways. This process exists to remove each of them.

  1. 01

    Audit

We talk to the people doing the work, map what actually happens, and quantify the hours each step costs you.

  2. 02

    Blueprint

You get a ranked roadmap with a fixed price against each item — highest return and lowest build cost first.

  3. 03

    Build

We build in your accounts, on your credentials, with error handling and alerting from the first version.

  4. 04

    Test

We run it in parallel with your manual process until the outputs match. Nobody is asked to trust it on day one.

  5. 05

    Handover

Documentation, a runbook and a recorded walkthrough, so your team can operate it without calling us.

  6. 06

    Monitor

Execution monitoring catches failures before your customers do — optionally with us on call.

Your side

What we need from you

  • Thirty minutes with whoever knows the process best — not the manager, the person doing it
  • Read-only access or a screen share of the systems involved
  • One named decision-maker who can approve scope and sign off deliverables
  • An honest account of what's actually happening, including the workarounds
Honestly

What slows projects down

  • Waiting on access to a third-party system nobody has the password for
  • Scope agreed with one person and disagreed with by another
  • A source process that turns out to have four undocumented exceptions
  • Approval sitting with someone who's travelling

None of these are dealbreakers — we plan around them. But they're the reason a two-week build sometimes takes four, and it's better to name them upfront.

We'll tell you not to automate something

Some processes shouldn't be automated. If it runs twice a month, changes every time, or a mistake is expensive and hard to reverse, a checklist beats a workflow.

We'd rather lose a project than build something that costs more to maintain than it saves. That's not a sales position — it's that unmaintained automation is worse than no automation, and we're usually the ones who get called to clean it up.
